Sarah Eichers

Executive Director // Associate Pastor

I love all things nature and outside, and think the best day ever would definitely include time kayaking, hiking or camping! I carry this love of nature into my work with children, and believe when kids are allowed to experience God’s creation through interacting with nature that learning is catapulted forward. I am an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and I also carry a BS in Child and Family Studies, along with over 20 years experience working with children. My passion is for young children to know the love of Christ, and that they are capable and valuable members of the community. As the Executive Director of The Waters Daycare, I work hard to create an environment where our staff, children, and families feel safe, loved, and valued.

Melissa Peterson

Assistant Director

I love being on the team as Assistant Director at The Waters Daycare! I’ve been part of The Waters Church for the past 16 years and loved serving in the PreK/Nursery for 11 of those years. As a mom of 2, I know how important it is to have a place where your kids feel safe, loved, and cared for. My experience working in nutritional services at an elementary school has also given me a great perspective on how to support kids and families in a school setting. I’m really looking forward to getting to know all the families and helping to create a warm, welcoming space where your little ones can learn, grow, and feel God’s love every day.
